At the most important fair dedicated to technological innovation, which took place a few months ago in Las Vegas, the Wilkinson Baking Company wanted to exhibit a new product that is truly unique in all its facets, namely an all-purpose Robot that has the peculiarity of churning out a delicious and tasty loaf of bread every 6 minutes.

This unmissable novelty is called BreadBot and it is a machine that has the ability to produce, bake and sell fresh bread. It will take at least 2 hours to start the machine and produce the first loaf, but once the robot has been fully started, it will be able to bake a loaf every 6 minutes.

In short, this is a truly cutting-edge technological innovation.

It is important to point out that this robot is not suitable for domestic use but rather for professional use! In fact, it was designed for shops, stores, and restaurants. Its size is quite considerable, as is its weight. In order for the machine to do its job, you only need to pour in the flour, BreadBot will take care of the rest.

How does the BreadBot production process work?

BreadBot kneads by adding water and yeast, once the dough is obtained it breaks it into small pieces in such a way as to obtain the shape of the sandwich bread which will fall into an oval shape along the assembly line.

This is the first stage of processing.

At a later stage, these loaves will be left to rise, then placed in a room with high humidity until the final stage, namely cooking, can begin.

Once the bread has been baked it will be placed in a special display that will act as a showcase or as a vending machine. The customer, in order to enjoy the steaming loaf, will select the desired product through a touch screen and the arm inside the display will automatically satisfy the request.

It is important to point out that the bread being placed in a display case will keep it fresh and soft all day.

At full capacity, the robot is capable of churning out 235 family-sized loaves of bread per day. A figure that certainly does not go unnoticed!

Another peculiarity of this machine is that it can knead and produce various types of dough including spelt, semolina, wholemeal and white bread.

At this point the question arises spontaneously: how much does this cutting-edge machine cost? At the moment there is no news on this matter, but there are those who say that Wilkinson could formulate a price not insignificant: for shopkeepers and retailers therefore, the cost could be around 100,000 dollars with a leasing plan of 5 years.

The manufacturer neither denies nor confirms this, but it is certainly a very interesting product that is worth considering for those who have a business related to the sector.

The company’s goal is to make bread a truly healthy food. Bringing fresh bread to the table every day is therefore a valid and effective solution to keep the body healthy.
